Hempel's Profair 35290: The Lightweight Epoxy Filler for Large Areas
Hempel's Profair 35290 is a lightweight, two-component epoxy filler that provides exceptional adhesion and water resistance. This easy-to-sand filler is perfect for profiling large areas and detailed fairing where structural strength and flexibility are required. Its ability to be applied in thick layers without sagging makes it a versatile solution for various fairing and filling tasks.

Application Information
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Clean the surface and remove possible oil and grease with a suitable detergent and sand with dry abrasive paper.
- Priming: For uncoated surfaces, sand and remove all dust. Prime with 1-2 coats of the specified Hempel primer. For previously coated surfaces, abrade, clean, and dry the surface.
- Mixing Ratio: Mix Base 35299 and Curing Agent 98290 in a 1:1 ratio by volume.
- Application Methods: Apply using a spatula.
- Conditions: The surface must be completely clean and dry at the time of application and its temperature must be above the dew point to avoid condensation. Do not apply in direct sunlight. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
