Hempel's Hard Racing Boot Top Antifoul: The Winning Formula for Waterline Protection

Hempel's Hard Racing Boot Top Antifoul is a high-performance antifouling paint specifically designed for the demanding conditions at the waterline. This hard matrix antifouling offers exceptional protection against fouling, keeping your boot top clean and smooth all season long. It's the perfect choice for racing boats, those that are dry-sailed, or kept in mud berths, where the waterline is particularly susceptible to the build-up of marine growth.

Key Features

  • Unbeatable Strength: Formulated for high mechanical strength and excellent crack resistance, ensuring long-lasting protection.
  • Targeted Protection: Ideal for use on the boot top area, which is exposed to both air and water, making it prone to fouling.
  • Eco-Friendly Formula: A hard matrix antifouling free from metallic biocides, making it an environmentally sound choice.
  • Long-lasting Protection: Delivers reliable, season-long defence against a wide range of fouling organisms.
  • Universal Compatibility: Can be applied over most existing antifouling paints.

Application Information

  • Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Refer to the technical datasheet for specific preparation instructions based on the existing coating.
  • Priming: For uncoated surfaces, prime with Hempel's Light Primer or Hempel's Underwater Primer.
  • Application Methods: Apply using a brush, roller, or spray.
  • Conditions: Apply when the paint temperature is above 15°C and the surface temperature is above the dew point. Avoid applying in direct sunlight and ensure adequate ventilation.
